Project Scope:
15 story multi-use tower connecting to an existing building located at 11th Avenue between West 59th St. and West 58th St. This project included high end architectural elements throughout including the latest in science and lab technologies for education with large public assembly auditoriums and common areas. It also included multi-story administrative office spaces and was completed adjacent to an active College campus.
Project Complexity:
As the Prime General Contractor for this project Sea Crest was responsible for the management and coordination of a multi-disciplined construction team. Sea Crest was responsible for managing all aspects of the interior fit out, interior curtain wall system, stone veneer and all concrete and asphalt site work. Portions of the exterior roofing and a “Green” roof at the podium level were also part of our Prime contract. Coordination with all other trades including HVAC, Electrical, Audio Visual systems, Plumbing, Fire Suppression and Protection, Building Management Systems, Security, Exterior Curtain Wall, Masonry and Concrete Structural contractors were an integral part of our scope.

Multi-Story Educational Campus, including Office and Administration Levels, Lab Floors, Kitchen and Dining Areas, Large and Small Class Rooms including Public Assembly areas and Theaters , Child Care Center and Vendor spaces.
Role:
Sea Crest was the Prime General Contractor for the project and self-performed 20% of the General Construction. Sea Crest managed 20 sub-contractors and over 50 vendors and or suppliers.
