This project presented many variables we had to deal with such as, limited lane closures, invasive plant removal, bridge placements, public safety & access to existing facilities as well as other unforeseen items.
Construction of a Shared-Use Path with 4 Bridges over Pedestrian Accesses in the Towns of Oyster bay, Islip & Babylon.
The project was awarded on July 12, 2019 with a completion date of March 28, 2021, (Duration of 20 months). Work was started September 2019 and completed November 2020, (Duration of 14 months).
With the cooperation of the NYSDOT personnel onsite we were able to successfully complete the project 6 months ahead of schedule.
